I just watched Paranormal Activity and this what I have to say about it. If you ever decide to see the movie, then pray for the original ending. I am not kidding you. The original ending makes the movie better than the two alternate endings that Steven Speilburg made. What was interesting was that the opening credits was a thank you announcement to the people that made the movie for letting Paramount bring this movie into theaters and there are no closing credits. I sat there for like a good 5 minutes staring at this black screen waiting for something to happen and all it showed was the movie rating. Now, on to the movie itself. The story was just ok. Basically, it goes from a little bit happening to a whole lot happening. I like how they made the environment feel kind of chilling by adding stuff like sounds of wind blowing in the room, footsteps, shadows, and stuff being moved. This independent film did well for a movie that costed $10,000 to make. The acting was meh. They could have given more emotion, but it was good enough at least for all the serious parts. Anyways, your opinion on this movie all depends on what ending you get. You may get the good ending which is the original ending and that can raise your satisfaction of this film enough to say, "It was ok." If you get one of the two alternative endings, then your not going to like the movie at all for not making any sense.
